OverPlay World Cup Coverage

OverPlay is a leading provider on online privacy services.  In addition to a fully encrypted VPN they also were the first to offer SmartDNS service.  With SmartDNS you can avoid geo-restrictions and watch the World Cup from anywhere in the world.  Since SmartDNS doesn’t use encryption there is no associated loss in terms of performance.  You can watch the World Cup from anywhere using OverPlay SmartDNS for just $4.95 a month.

Let’s take a quick look at some of the countries and channels made available through OverPlay VPN and SmartDNS.  VPN subscribers gain unlimited access to both encrypted and SmartDNS services.
  • Australia – SBS
  • France – MyTF1, Zattoo
  • Germany – Das Erste, ZDF Mediathek, Zattoo, FilmOn
  • Italy- RAl.tv, Zattoo
  • Netherlands – NOS
  • Spain – Cuatro, Telecinco, Gol Television

  • United Kingdom – BBC iPlayer, BBC Sport, iTV, FilmOn, Zattoo, TVPlayer, Sky Go, Virgin Anywhere
As you can see OverPlay opens up a wide range of options to watch the World Cup.  The same is true for other online services like Netflix, Hulu and HBO GO.  Unblock sites around the world with OverPlay VPN and SmartDNS.  I use the VPN service with their free Windows client.  It helps you easily connect to any of their 140+ VPN servers across 48 countries.  From there you can access the web with a local IP address.
At the beginning of the post we mentioned that OverPlay’s SmartDNS costs $4.95 a month.  You can actually get it for even less.  They offer unlimited SmartDNS service for $4.95 a month, $13.95 a quarter, $26.95 for 6 months or $49.95 a year.  That works out to just $4.16 a month for their annual plan.  All new memberships come with a 48 hour money back guarantee.  You can read our OverPlay review to learn more about the service.

  1. Great article. The DNS option is better than using a VPN regarding content streaming because you can achieve direct connection with the media station ex. Netflix and avoid the “middle-man”. Personally, I am using UnoTelly which is similar to Unblock-us (or other DNS service). Perhaps you should check UnoTelly as well if you haven’t done so.
