IPVanish Expands in Brazil

IPVanish Expands in Brazil

With the World Cup in full swing and the competition heating up it will come as no surprise that VPNs are in the spotlight.  IPVanish is expanding their local coverage of the 2014 World Cup and future events in Brazil by adding another VPN server in Sao Paulo.  The recent addition gives IPVanish members the option of three VPN servers to choose from in Sao Paulo, Brazil.  I took a quick look at the IPVanish server list in their members area and they have plenty of capacity.  You can sign up during their World Cup promotion to save 25% off.
IPVanish server in Sao Paulo Brazil
We tested the new server in Sao Paulo from the United States.  The performance was impressive given the distance between our location in the US and Brazil.  As you can see we were able to get an IP address in Brazil and achieved a download speed of 10.57 Mbps.  A good speed for watching local coverage of the World Cup.
The IPVanish network includes over 135 servers in 58 countries including:
Albania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong. Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Moldova, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Serbia, South Africa, South Korea, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States.
You’ll find their network provides the fastest speeds in North America and Europe.  We regularly get over 40 Mbps in the United States.  Cheers to the IPvanish team on their efforts to expand the network.  Members continue to enjoy the benefits of a growing VPN service.  We look forward to seeing where they go next.  Read our IPVanish review to learn more about the service or sign up for unlimited VPN from just $4.87 a month.

HideIPVPN SmartDNS Expansion

Smart DNS services are growing in popularity as users around the world use them to unblock content in other countries.  Common uses of SmartDNS include VOD services like Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO and BBC iPlayer.  HideIPVPN has expanded their SmartDNS to include Polish VOD services like Kinoplex, VOD,onet,pl and TVN Player.  Unblock streaming video and music sites in the US, UK and Poland from just $3.24 a month.
HideIPVPN SmartDNS
HideIPVPN offers both VPN and SmartDNS.  The main difference is privacy.  If you want to protect your online privacy then a VPN is the right option.  Their VPN provides encrypted access through a network of VPN servers in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands and Germany.  You can choose the best VPN plan based on server locations.  Most their VPN plans also include SmartDNS access free of charge.
Smart DNS services differ from VPN in that they do not offer encrypted access.  You can think of SmartDNS as a proxy that helps unblock content in other countries.  It doesn’t provide encryption like a VPN so you won’t have that extra layer of privacy and anonymity.  It’s also faster since encryption adds overhead.  HideIPVPN SmartDNS service costs less than VPN.  With unlimited access to unblock sites in the US, UK and Poland.
HideIPVPN won’t leave you guessing as to which sites and services you can unblock using SmartDNS.  Paid services like Netflix will require that you have an account.  Their SmartDNS service will give you access to the Netflix site as if you were sitting in the United States.  That’s just an example.  Here’s are just a few of the sites that the HideIPVPN SmartDNS service will help you unblock:
  • United States – Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video, Crackle, HBO GO, CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, Spotify, Pandora
  • United Kingdom – Netflix, BBC iPlayer, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky Go, NOW TV, LOVEFILM
  • Poland – Kinoplex, VOD.onet.pl, Player.pl, TVP.pl, Cineman, Strefa VOD, oPlex.pl, HBO GO

  1. Thanks for the article. I personally use the UnoTelly DNS option. It’s ideal for content streaming because unlike VPNs, there is no internet speed loss when using it.
